Weekly habit tracker
Seven columns for the days of the week, with wider rows than the monthly version because there is room to spare.

Weekly beats monthly for starting
A blank monthly grid is 31 boxes of potential failure staring back at you. A week is seven, and a bad week is discarded on Sunday rather than sitting on the fridge until the month turns. For a habit you are still establishing, the shorter cycle is markedly easier to sustain.
Use the extra width
With only seven columns each one is over an inch wide, which is enough to write in rather than just tick. Some people record a number — minutes practised, pages read, glasses of water — instead of a binary mark. That turns the tracker into a log, which is more informative when you look back.
Print a stack
Set the page count to twelve and you have a quarter's worth in one PDF. Trackers fail more often from the friction of printing a new one than from lack of motivation, so removing that step is worth more than any layout improvement.
Printing it accurately
This only measures correctly if your printer doesn't rescale the page. In the print dialog set Scale: 100% — not "Fit to page" or "Shrink oversized pages". If you're not sure it worked, print the calibration page, measure the ruler on it with a real ruler, and it will tell you exactly what your printer is doing to the page.
