The shape of the paper should match the shape of the work
A loomed bracelet is a long narrow strip, typically fifteen to twenty beads wide and well over a hundred long. Charted on a Letter sheet it either runs off the bottom or gets split across pages, and the split is exactly where a repeating pattern loses its alignment. Legal gives you three more inches, which at 5 mm spacing is about fifteen more rows, and it costs nothing because the paper is the same width.
Work out the length before you warp the loom
Bead count times bead height gives you the finished length, and for an 11/0 seed bead the height is around 1.7 mm once strung. A 180-row band comes out near 30 cm, which is a generous bracelet with clasp allowance. Getting this wrong is expensive in time rather than materials, since a band that finishes short cannot be extended without an obvious join.
Aligned rows, not offset
Loom work stacks each bead directly above the one below, held there by the warp threads, so the chart is a straight rectangular grid. This is the opposite of peyote and brick stitch, where rows nest half a bead out of line. Charting loom work on offset paper misplaces every second row and the error grows down the length of the band, which on a bracelet means the pattern visibly drifts.
Printing it accurately
This only measures correctly if your printer doesn't rescale the page. In the print dialog set Scale: 100%, not "Fit to page" or "Shrink oversized pages". If you're not sure it worked, print the calibration page, measure the ruler on it with a real ruler, and it will tell you exactly what your printer is doing to the page.
